General Warehousing

Essentially this refers to a relationship whereby ACR provides warehousing services on a non contract related basis where there are a number of reasons why a business cannot or will not enter into a fixed term formal contract at the end.

At the end of the day, what is important to ACR is that the clients cost and service expectations are being met and that the relationship is mutually beneficial and ongoing.

General Warehousing services would be more appropriate to cater for such activities as:

• Cross Docking
• Container Unpack
• Kitting and Fulfillment
• Bulk Storage
• Seasonal Overflow Storage
• Campaign Management

In many instances, the client may operate its own warehouse facility but due to time or capacity issues for particular circumstances, they require additional resources, capacity or expertise for short periods of time. This is particularly prevalent during seasonal volume peaks and /or to manage opportunity buys for example.
